Visa Fees Jump From 1 July 2026: What It Means for Construction Hiring and Migrant Workers
Australiaβs visa application charges increased from 1 July 2026, with several employer-sponsored skilled visa streams seeing sharp fee rises. The changes add extra cost for construction, civil and mining employers already relying on sponsored workers, while higher salary thresholds also make sponsorship harder for some lower-margin roles.
