3. User Accounts and Communications

- Registered employers may contact you directly about roles, opportunities, or your applications, where you have applied for a role or made your profile visible to employers.

- You can unsubscribe from marketing and job alert emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or through your account settings. Essential account and transactional emails (such as receipts, security notices, and application confirmations) will still be sent while your account remains active.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

4. Services Offered

Services may include:

- Premium job seeker memberships

- Employer advertising and featured listings

- CV search and candidate alerts

5. Job Applications and Forwarding to Employer Systems

When you apply for a job through the Website, your application (including your CV, contact details, and any answers you provide) is sent to the employer who posted the role.

**Important:** Some employers use external Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or third-party recruitment software. Where this is the case, your application may be forwarded directly into the employer's ATS or external system. Once your application is received by an employer or their ATS, the employer is responsible for how your data is handled. You should review the employer's own privacy policy and terms before applying, as their practices are outside our control.

6. Job Distribution and Publishing Networks

We are expanding our job advertising reach. Jobs posted on the Website may be republished, syndicated, or distributed to third-party job boards, aggregators, and multi-platform publishing networks to increase the visibility of listings.

By posting a job, employers consent to their job listings being distributed through these networks. Specific network partners will be identified in these Terms or our Privacy Policy as we join them.

7. Subscriptions, Pricing and Billing

Subscription Types:

- Monthly subscriptions

- Annual subscriptions

- Lifetime memberships

Billing:

- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing period

- Prices are displayed in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise

- Payments are processed via Stripe

Free Trials:

- Limited to one per customer

- Abuse of free trials may result in suspension or charges

Lifetime Memberships:

- Lifetime access applies to the lifespan of the platform and included services as described at purchase

- Third-party platforms, communities, or integrations may change over time

All payments are non-refundable unless required by law. Subscriptions must be cancelled before the next billing period to prevent further charges.

8. Job Listings and Employer Responsibilities

Employers are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of their job listings. Construction Jobs Australia does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of any job advertisement, the identity of any employer, the existence of any advertised role, or any hiring outcome.

Construction Jobs Australia does not guarantee responses, suitability of applicants, or hiring outcomes.

Employers must comply with all applicable employment, privacy, and anti-discrimination laws, and are responsible for their own compliance when handling candidate data received through the Website.

9. Job Post Rules

Employers must not:

- Post misleading or non-existent jobs

- Include contact details within job descriptions

- Duplicate job listings

- Request payment from job seekers

- Post discriminatory or unlawful content

Job posts are active for a maximum of 30 days unless removed earlier.

10. Aggregated and Replicated Jobs

We may replicate or aggregate job content from employer websites or approved sources. Accuracy is not guaranteed and remains the responsibility of the employer or originating source. If you are an employer or originating source and would like an aggregated listing amended or removed, contact us at admin@cj-australia.com and we will action your request promptly.

11. Intellectual Property

All Website content, branding, databases, and systems are owned by Construction Jobs Australia Ltd or licensed to us. Unauthorised use is prohibited.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the Website or services

- The content, accuracy, or legality of any job listing posted by an employer

- The conduct of any employer or job seeker, whether on or off the Website

- How employers or their external systems (including ATS platforms) handle your data after an application is submitted

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or UK consumer law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Construction Jobs Australia harmless from claims arising from your use of the Website, your job listings or applications, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at our discretion where Terms are breached.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Courts of Australia have exclusive jurisdiction.


16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
