Burton Demolition is seeking a proactive Workforce Coordinator to join our fast-paced team. This is a hands-on role supporting workforce coordination, recruitment, onboarding, and compliance audit across Burton Demolition and the wider business group.
The Role
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will support day-to-day workforce (resource) rostering and recruitment in a blue-collar environment.
You will coordinate workforce scheduling recruitment, onboarding, and compliance, working closely with operational leaders and field supervisors to ensure staff availability and business needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the workforce roster (schedule) with coordinating staff availability and roster updates
- Coordinate recruitment across operational and office roles (screening, interviews, onboarding, and mobilisation)
- Maintain recruitment pipelines to support workforce demand
- Coordinate onboarding and ensure employee documentation, licences, tickets, and compliance records are up to date
- Maintain accurate employee records in HR and internal systems
- Support Safety and Compliance Team to ensure records are up to date for inductions, VOCs, medicals, and training.
- Assist with employee lifecycle processes including performance and employee relations support as directed by HR Manager.
- Liaise with HR Manager and Supervisors to support accurate and timely timesheet processing
- Assist with other areas of the business and group as needed
What Youβll Bring
- Experience in Workforce planning, HR coordination, recruitment coordination, or HR administration
- Experience in construction, demolition, transport, logistics, skip bin, or waste industries highly regarded
- Strong organisation and ability to manage competing priorities
- High attention to detail and compliance focus
- Confident communicator across all levels of the business
- Experience with Employment Hero (preferred)
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- A proactive and reliable approach
