We are seeking an experienced Tyre Fitter/Serviceman to join an exciting new mining project located in Croydon, QLD (approximately 500km west of Cairns, QLD). About the Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role will be responsible for the safe and efficient servicing, repair and replacement of tyres on a range of heavy mobile equipment (our modern Fleet consists of Rear Dump Trucks, Loaders, Scrapers, and Trucks). This role will also assist the team with general servicing and maintenance. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include;

·       Fitting, repairing, and maintaining tyres on heavy earthmoving mining equipment as required

·       Servicing heavy earthmoving mining equipment

·       Conducting inspections and pressure checks, and diagnosing and resolving faults

·       Tracking and recording tyre performance and wear data + Rim Register

·       Maintaining tools and work areas to site safety standards

What You Will Bring

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role working on heavy earthmoving tyres
• Demonstrated experience servicing vehicles in a mining environment
• Prior experience operating tyre handing equipment is essential
• Capability to pass Standard Open Pit Mine Medicals, National Police Checks, and random Drug & Alcohol testing
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and General Construction Induction (White Card)
• Strong commitment to safety, WHS compliance and environmental standards
• Experience in mining or major civil earthworks (mandatory)
