About Us

Kinyara Health is a business with a unique mission: to keep personal, local care alive for ageing Australians and people living with disability - helping individuals find their forever home care within one of our remarkable, community‑founded brands across New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.

In the face of significant industry reform, we’ve doubled down on this commitment. As a result, Kinyara has grown at pace - expanding into the hearts and homes of more Australians, while staying true to the local care that defines us.

Our growing group operates through a distinctive service model, where long‑established community businesses (some with legacies of up to 45 years) have their histories and connections honoured. These local teams are supported by shared services and a technology‑forward approach that strengthens consistency and sustainability - without ever compromising client experience or community connection.

Through growth and transition, we remain deeply anchored to our purpose, quality standards and culture - creating an environment that attracts thoughtful, capable people who are motivated to do meaningful work and make a genuine impact.

About The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, People and Culture, the Talent Acquisition Partner is part of a deeply connected and collaborative Talent team within the broader People and Culture function.

Operating as part of Kinyara Health's shared services model, our team partners with six community care businesses to attract and hire the people who deliver exceptional outcomes for clients every day. From frontline and field-based positions through to corporate, specialist and leadership roles, we support a diverse range of recruitment needs across multiple brands, services and locations.

This is a blended role, balancing hands-on recruitment with strategic talent acquisition partnering, workforce initiatives and projects that shape the future of hiring at Kinyara Health. You'll own a dedicated portfolio while working as part of a high-performing, highly collaborative team that shares knowledge, supports each other and flexes across portfolios to meet changing business needs.

We're a team that combines commercial thinking with genuine care for people. We work hard, celebrate success, learn from challenges and continually look for ways to improve. We're curious, authentic and outcomes-focused, but never lose sight of the fact that every hire we make contributes to stronger teams, better services and more positive outcomes for the clients and communities we support.

If you want to be part of a team that genuinely loves what it does and is always raising the bar, we'd love to hear from you.

This role involves:

  • Owning your portfolio – Taking accountability for end-to-end recruitment across your business areas, building strong partnerships with leaders and delivering exceptional hiring outcomes.
  • On-the-tools recruitment – Screening applications, sourcing candidates, conducting phone calls, coordinating interviews, managing offers and keeping recruitment moving from brief to onboarding.
  • Being a trusted advisor – Providing practical talent acquisition advice, challenging thinking where needed and helping leaders make confident, informed hiring decisions.
  • Finding great people – Developing attraction strategies, proactively sourcing talent and building pipelines that support current and future hiring needs.
  • Thriving in a fast-paced environment – Balancing multiple priorities, adapting to changing business needs and keeping momentum across a diverse range of roles.
  • Using insight to drive outcomes – Leveraging recruitment data, market intelligence and workforce trends to influence decisions and continuously improve results.
  • Making an impact beyond recruitment – Contributing to employer branding, community engagement, workforce initiatives and projects that strengthen how we attract and engage talent.
  • Working as one team – Collaborating across Talent Acquisition portfolios and with People & Culture, shared services and operational teams to deliver outcomes that matter.
  • Never standing still – Bringing curiosity, embracing new ideas and continually looking for ways to improve our processes, practices and experiences.

About You

Recruitment, business, people – you just get it!

You're someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and delivering great outcomes. You're equally comfortable getting into the recruitment weeds as you are contributing ideas, influencing decisions and helping shape how we attract and engage talent.

Our ideal candidate will also have:

  • The technical TA toolkit - End-to-end recruitment experience across high-volume, specialist and leadership roles, whether gained in agency recruitment, internal talent acquisition, or a combination of both.
  • A growth mindset – Curious, open to feedback and always looking for ways to learn, improve and raise the bar.
  • Big-picture thinking – You're strategically minded with an understanding of the impact great hiring has on business performance, team success and client outcomes.
  • A "will find a way" attitude – A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
  • People skills in spades – The ability to build trust quickly, communicate authentically and create positive experiences for candidates, leaders and colleagues.
  • Commercial awareness – Understands business drivers and can translate talent acquisition activity into meaningful outcomes, ideally in a fast-paced, scaling organisation.
  • Connection to purpose - A genuine care for people, recognising the impact great hiring has on teams, clients and communities.
  • Tech confidence - Comfort using recruitment technology, AI, data and insights to improve outcomes and ways of working.
  • A team-first approach – A love of collaboration, sharing ideas and contributing to a high-performing team that genuinely enjoys working together.
  • Adaptability and resilience – The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggle competing priorities and embrace change.

Other role requirements:

  • Location & travel: Supporting a dispersed, multi-site workforce, our TA team is primarily based in Balaclava, with travel across offices (Tullamarine and Carrum Downs) as required and occasional interstate travel depending on portfolio. We're happy to discuss what this looks like in practice.
  • Current Victorian Driver Licence and access to a reliable vehicle (desirable)
  • Australian working rights
  • Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check
