About Us

Global Hydraulic Services Pty Ltd is a family owned hydraulic business based in Forrestdale, WA. We service a wide range of industries including mining, earthmoving, construction, food processing, and maritime.

Our work is carried out primarily in our Forrestdale workshop, with additional onsite work across the Perth metropolitan area.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice to undertake a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (Mobile Plant Equipment).

This is a full time position offering hands-on experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Duties

Duties will vary depending on experience and may include:

• Assisting tradespeople (Trade Assistant duties)
• Picking up and delivering parts and orders
• Hose and fitting assembly
• Basic fabrication and painting work
• Assisting with site based work across Perth
• General workshop duties

About You

We are open to both mature age applicants and school leavers.

Ideal Candidate:

• Keen interest in mechanical/hydraulic work
• Basic knowledge of hand tools (essential for new entrants)
• Previous experience or partial apprenticeship (highly regarded)
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Reliable and punctual

Essential & Desirable Criteria

Essential:

• Current driver’s licence

Desirable (but not essential):

• Forklift licence
• Welding experience
• Previous mechanical or trade assistant experience
