Waverley BMW, part of the award-winning, family-owned Jowett Motor Group, is looking for an experienced Workshop Technician who knows how to perform routine vehicle repairs, services and maintenance on vehicles as required by manufacturer standards and as per customers’ requests.

About the role

As a Workshop Technician, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end servicing and repairs, playing a key role in delivering high-quality workmanship and reliable outcomes for our customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles.
  • Identify problems using the diagnostic equipment.
  • Explain repairs and issues and provide great communication.
  • Plan repair procedures using charts, manuals and experience.
  • Test the functionality of parts and systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic work.

About you

You’ll bring:

  • Graduated from a certificate or diploma level in Light Vehicle Mechanical technology.
  • Proven experience in fault finding using diagnostic knowledge and initiative.
  • Ability to use the diagnostic equipment.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • A positive attitude and enthusiasm for the brand.
  • Strong people skills and solid computer literacy.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • A team player who thrives in a fast-paced workshop.
  • A commitment to excellent customer service and attention to detail.
