Capital Projects Lead - Mechanical

The Role
Reporting to the Capital Projects Superintendent, you will provide leadership across the NAO mechanical capital project portfolio while supporting and mentoring Project Managers responsible for project delivery. You will be accountable for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
Working closely with operations, maintenance, engineering, contractors and site leadership, you'll help shape project priorities, strengthen project governance, and ensure consistent delivery standards across the portfolio.
This role is based at Phosphate Hill on a 4/3 roster, with regular travel to Mount Isa.

What you’ll bring
You are an experienced engineering and project delivery professional who has successfully led capital projects within heavy industry environments. You understand the challenges of delivering brownfield projects on operating sites and can balance safety, quality, budget and schedule while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
You are comfortable leading teams, holding people accountable, and creating an environment where project professionals can perform at their best. Your practical approach, commercial mindset and ability to navigate complex industrial environments enable you to consistently deliver results.
