THE ROLE
PDP Fine Foods, a dynamic 100+ employee chilled desserts and snacks manufacturer in Southwest Sydney, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Storeperson for our afternoon shift operations.
⏰ SHIFT DETAILS:
• Hours: 1:00pm – 9:06pm, Monday to Friday (with occasional weekends)
• Hourly rate: $38.07 ($33.10 base + 15% afternoon shift loading)
• Afternoon shift = mornings free for personal commitments
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Pick and pack orders using FIFO principles
• Operate forklifts and high reach equipment
• Monitor temperature-controlled storage areas
• Load/unload trucks and coordinate dispatch
• Manage inventory using RF guns
• Maintain quality and safety standards
• Follow GMP requirements
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
✓ Current Forklift Licence (LF class)
✓ Proven warehouse/logistics experience
✓ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
✓ Reliable, safety-focused, team player
✓ Physically fit for manual handling
✓ Available to work 5-6 days/week including weekends
HIGHLY DESIRABLE:
✓ High reach forklift experience
✓ RF gun/inventory system experience
✓ GMP knowledge
✓ Food manufacturing or FMCG background
