The Opportunity

Are you looking to kickstart your career in the mining industry? Hampton Mining & Civil is excited to offer permanent FIFO roles for Trainee Open Pit Dump Truck Operators at the Carosue Dam project north of Kalgoorlie. 

We are looking for enthusiastic, safety-conscious individuals who are eager to learn. No prior mining experience is required—just make sure you have the right to work in Australia and an unencumbered C-Class license, and we will provide you with the training to get you operating heavy machinery like a professional! 

What You Will Offer

• A strong willingness to learn and matched only by your safety commitment and your work ethic.
• Transferable skills from industries like agriculture, transport, construction, or are highly regarded, but a great attitude is what matters most.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for getting the job done.
• Ability to pass pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screen.
• Current satisfactory National Police Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
• Valid C-Class Australian Driver’s Licence though a HR-Class license will be looked upon very favourably.

• Permanent employment with transition out of ‘trainee’ status with further training in other equipment for those who shine
• Paid five (5) weeks annual leave a year
• 2/1 roster (Days and Nights)
• Permanent FIFO roster with ongoing project stability
• Fly in or out of Busselton or Perth or drive in and out of Kalgoorlie
