Join our Operations team as a Trade Assistant / Labourer, in our fabrication workshop in Murarrie.

About the Role

As a key support role within the workshop, you’ll assist tradespeople across fabrication, assembly and packing activities. You will operate hand tools, prepare materials, complete pre-start checks and help maintain a clean and organised work area.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support

• Safely operate workshop hand tools and equipment
• Perform pre-operational inspections and pre-start checks
• Assist tradespeople with fabrication and assembly of products
• Pack finished orders and assist with loading and unloading
• Maintain tidy work areas and conduct minor equipment maintenance

General

• Perform other duties as required to support production and operational needs

What You’ll Bring

• Good understanding of workshop tools, machinery and safe work practices
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability and safety focus
• Reliable, self-motivated and adaptable
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a small team
• Able to work with minimal supervision

Requirements

• Current Driver’s Licence
• Current Forklift Licence
