Join the Strike Force Services team as a Trades Assistant! Based on our customer site, you will support experienced tradespeople with a variety of maintenance and housekeeping activities while helping to maintain a safe, productive, and well-organised work environment.
This is a casual role, making it ideal for someone seeking work-life balance, or ongoing site-based work without the commitment of full-time hours.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work and values flexibility!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist tradespeople with general housekeeping and trades assistant duties.
- Follow all Strike Force Services and client site policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they remain in safe and effective working condition.
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and hazard-free.
- Work collaboratively with team members while also being able to work independently when required.
Essential Requirements
- Previous Trade Assistant or labouring experience within the mining industry.
- Current driver’s licence (manual licence preferred) & reliable transport.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Working Safely at Heights certification.
- MDG25 certification.
- Current Order 45 Medical.
