Talent Acquisition Lead

The role
This is a foundational TA hire to anchor our Australia desk. You'll own end-to-end recruiting for client mandates across the Australian market, while also running cross-border searches into our India talent pool— the dual-geography piece is core, not occasional. You'll work directly with founders, hiring managers, and our delivery leads in India to fill roles spanning engineering, product, GTM, and operations. Expect to operate as an independent recruiter with full ownership of your reqs, sourcing strategy, and candidate experience.
What you'll do
 Own the full recruiting lifecycle for 6–10 active mandates across Australia and India — sourcing, screening, shortlisting, offer negotiation, and close.
 Build a defensible sourcing engine across LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Hirist, Instahyre, Seek, employee referrals, and direct outreach.
 Run intake calls with hiring managers to shape role specs, calibrate on bar, and align on comp and timeline before kickoff.
 Manage candidates across AEDT and IST timezones with a tight, professional cadence — same-day follow-ups, structured updates, no ghosting.
 Advise clients on AU and India market realities: comp benchmarks, notice periods, equity expectations,talent supply.
 Partner with our India delivery team on shared mandates and pipeline coverage.
 Track pipeline health weekly — funnel conversion, time-to-shortlist, time-to-fill — and report cleanly to clients and internal leadership.
