Stealth Group Holdings Ltd is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Supply Chain manager to lead and optimise inventory operations across the group.

Working closely with senior leadership, General Managers, branches, and suppliers, this role will play a key part in driving stock performance, purchasing efficiencies, service delivery, and operational excellence across the business. Stealth’s diversified businesses distribute hundreds of leading brands to more than 40,000 businesses, institutions, trade professionals, and retail consumers across Australia.

Customers purchase through online platforms, sales representatives, local branches, and retail stores — across industries including mining, infrastructure, government, manufacturing, construction, transportation, telecommunications, FMCG, and consumer retail.

THE ROLE

As the Supply Chain Manager, you’ll lead inventory planning, stock optimisation, replenishment governance, and inventory performance across the group.

You’ll work closely with senior leadership, General Managers, branch teams, and the purchasing function to improve stock availability, reduce excess inventory, strengthen replenishment discipline, and embed consistent inventory management practices across the business.

This role is focused on inventory planning, governance, systems, reporting, and stock optimisation, while working collaboratively with purchasing on supplier-related inputs such as lead times, MOQs, availability, and replenishment requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and optimise stocked inventory to balance availability, service levels, and stock holding costs
  • Analyse stock performance, demand trends, excess stock, and service levels to support business decisions
  • Lead inventory planning through Netstock and other systems
  • Support importing and supplier-related planning by ensuring lead times, MOQs, order cycles, and replenishment requirements are accurately reflected in inventory systems
  • Support margin and working capital improvement through effective stock management, demand planning, and inventory optimisation
  • Monitor supplier performance, stock availability, and service outcomes
  • Implement and maintain inventory policies, procedures, controls, and governance frameworks
  • Partner with General Managers, branches, purchasing, and operations teams to align inventory strategy with business needs
  • Provide reporting, forecasting, and inventory performance insights to senior leadership
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and stronger inventory governance
  • Lead, mentor, and support the inventory planning and replenishment team
  • Lead stakeholder engagement and change initiatives to embed centralised inventory management practices and governance across the business.

ABOUT YOU

You’re a commercially minded inventory professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, comfortable balancing operational detail with strategic thinking.

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience managing inventory across a large SKU base, preferably in a multi-branch, wholesale, distribution, industrial, or similar environment
  • Strong experience in inventory planning, replenishment, stock optimisation, and supply-demand balancing.
  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to turn inventory data into practical commercial decisions
  • Experience with ERP and inventory planning systems to manage replenishment, forecasting, and inventory performance; Netstock experience is a strong advantage
  • Commercial acumen — you understand how inventory decisions affect margin and service
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence purchasing, sales, operations, and branch teams
  • Experience leading or mentoring a team

WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU

  • A key leadership role within a growing national business
  • Genuine career progression opportunities
  • Supportive leadership and collaborative team culture
  • Access to leading industry brands and suppliers
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your family
