What you’ll be doing:

You’ll work closely with our multi-disciplinary teams, with hands-on project exposure, practical mentoring, and the guidance to keep moving toward your RPEQ (Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland).

•Design & Documentation: Deliver structural designs and documentation across concrete, steel, timber, and masonry aligned with NCC and Australian Standards.

•Wind Loading Expertise: Apply your knowledge of wind codes – experience here is a strong advantage.

•Technical Reporting: Produce clear, professional reports and specifications to support project delivery.

•Coordination & Review: Review drawings and documents, providing markups that enhance team collaboration.

•Site Engagement: Attend site inspections, respond to RFIs, and support construction-phase queries.

•Quality & Systems: Contribute to QA, meet project timelines, and improve internal templates and workflows.

•Team Collaboration: Work with engineers, architects, and designers to deliver integrated, client-focused solutions.

About You

You’re a driven, detail-minded Structural Engineer who enjoys solving real problems with a team around you.

•A bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering (essential).

•2 – 5 years of hands-on experience in structural design, with a strong foundation in residential and suspended concrete slab projects (essential).

•Solid understanding of Australian Standards and the NCC, with confidence designing in concrete, steel, timber, and masonry.

•Proficiency in Spacegass, Inducta, Adobe Bluebeam (highly regarded), Revit knowledge would assist.

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and colleagues.

•Open to candidates based in Brisbane or across Queensland who are interested in working on projects across regional and metropolitan communities.

•A clear ambition to achieve RPEQ registration—we’ll support you every step of the way.

•Must have full unrestricted working rights in Australia
