  • Scope, coordinate and review environmental monitoring programs, including biodiversity monitoring and compliance requirements.
  • Lead the reporting and investigation of environmental incidents and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented.
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports, regulatory submissions and stakeholder communications.
  • Prioritise competing demands and apply sound judgement in a dynamic operational environment.

About You

You are a collaborative and solutions-focused environmental professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams to deliver practical environmental outcomes.

You understand the importance of maintaining a strong field presence and are passionate about coaching leaders and frontline teams to improve environmental performance and risk management.

You bring a combination of technical expertise, stakeholder engagement skills and operational awareness, with the ability to influence outcomes and build strong relationships across all levels of the business.

You will thrive in a dynamic operational environment where your expertise, initiative and leadership can make a tangible difference.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in environmental management within mining, heavy industry or environmental consulting.
