SFI Australia (part of the ATOM Group) is seeking an experienced FIFO Store Person to join our team supporting a major mining operation in the Pilbara.

Working on a 2/2 FIFO roster from Perth, you'll play a key role in ensuring site teams have timely access to the gear they need to perform their work safely and efficiently.
This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast paced operational environment, takes pride in maintaining accurate inventory records, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service to site crews.
You will work across both day and night shift rotations and be part of a supportive team that values safety, teamwork, accountability and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, friendly and professional customer service to site personnel
- Issue and receive tools, equipment and consumables in accordance with site procedures
- Perform receipting, stock put away and inventory transactions using company systems
- Conduct stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory reconciliation activities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies promptly
- Ensure all items issued are fit for purpose and safe for use
- Maintain site stores to a clean, organised and compliant standard
- Assist with deliveries, freight movements and stock replenishment activities
- Identify and report damaged, defective or missing equipment
- Work collaboratively with site teams to meet operational requirements and shutdown schedules
- Adhere to all site safety requirements, procedures and company policies
- Contribute to a positive team culture and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics or inventory management role
- Mining, shutdown, construction or heavy industry experience highly regarded
- FIFO experience
- Forklift Licence (LF)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy
- Good computer skills and ability to learn inventory management systems
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to pass all pre employment and site access requirements
- Comfortable working a FIFO 2/2 roster with day and night shift rotations
