Service Technician – Caravans

• Full time permanent 6.30am-3pm Mon-Fri
• Monthly RDO
• $32-$35/hr + o/time

The Opportunity

Brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Repair and Warranty Technician to join our ever-growing team based in Somerton. In this role you will be mechanically minded and will possess a variety of skills including exceptional industry knowledge. You will be responsible for repairing and servicing vans and ensuring vans are ready for handover to our dealership network.

Key Accountabilities

Duties are wide varied and not limited to:

• Caravan repairs and servicing
• Panel repairs, filling, grinding, paint work
• Maintenance and servicing of Caravan
• Remove and refit new parts or repaired parts
• Basic electrical and plumbing work,
• Fault finding
• Sealing work

The ideal candidate will have

• Electrical experience highly regarded
• Previous experience as a T/A or Panel Shop repairer highly regarded
• Safety conscientious, ALWAYS
• Mechanical skills desirable
• Experience in the RV industry is highly desirable
• Current Driver Licence
• Forklift licence highly regarded
• Possess an eye for detail, & have clear commitment to working to a high standard of finish
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised
• A can-do attitude and interest in problem solving
• Strong communication skills with a professional approach
• Australian working rights
