The Role

Reporting into the Head of Talent Acquisition for EMEA and APAC, this is a standalone senior recruitment role covering Australia, New Zealand. You will be the primary talent acquisition partner for the region, operating with a high degree of autonomy while working as an integral part of a global TA team. The hiring profile spans commercial, functional, and technology disciplines, reflecting a business that delivers data and analytics solutions to some of the world's leading consumer brands and retailers. You will be responsible for hiring across the full spectrum of the business, from technology-focused roles including AI and data science, through to commercial, analytical, and operational functions.

This role requires someone who brings genuine regional market expertise, the seniority to operate as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, and the range to recruit credibly across both technical and non-technical disciplines without defaulting to a single-track approach.

Main Role Responsibilities

  • Drive proactive sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, local job boards, professional networks, and direct outreach, with the ability to adapt methodology to both technical and non-technical talent pools.
  • Own end-to-end recruitment across ANZ and provide support to East Asia, acting as the sole TA resource for the region and managing a varied portfolio of roles across commercial, analytics, and technology functions.
  • Build and maintain active talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles, with particular emphasis on hard-to-fill and emerging capability areas including AI.
  • Establish robust relationships with hiring managers and the wider HR team across the region, positioning yourself as the go-to trusted advisor across all areas of talent acquisition.
  • Deliver market insights and benchmarking data to stakeholders.
  • Manage the full candidate experience across all roles, ensuring timely and professional communication at every stage and a consistent standard of candidate experience.
  • Lead screening, shortlisting, and structured interview processes, supporting hiring managers in making well-informed, defensible hiring decisions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment data contributing to regional reporting and global TA performance insights.
  • Coach and advise hiring managers on recruitment process, interview best practice, and compliance with Circana’s policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to broader TA initiatives, including employer branding, process improvement, and global team projects where regional expertise adds value.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong talent acquisition experience, typically gained over 6 or more years, with a track record that spans both in-house and agency environments.
  • Strong sourcing capability across both technical and non-technical talent pools, with the ability to build pipelines and engage passive candidates effectively.
  • A recruiting background spanning technical disciplines (software engineering, data, AI/ML) and commercial functions (FMCG, retail, analytics, operations), with genuine credibility across both.
  • Deep familiarity with ANZ talent markets; exposure to East Asian markets, particularly China, Japan, South Korea or Singapore, is an advantage
  • Additional languages such as proficiency in Mandarin, Japanese or Korean (spoken and written) would be a plus.
  • Exceptional communicator, able to engage credibly at senior levels across a global, matrixed organisation.
  • Commercially minded and data-literate, with the ability to translate market intelligence into practical hiring recommendations.

Location

This position is fully remote, based in Australia (Sydney or Melbourne). Occasional travel within the ANZ region and to other APAC markets will be expected as the role requires.
