We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Manager – Transition to lead and deliver the end-to-end relocation of our Distribution Centre (DC) operations from Altona DC to our brand-new national distribution centre located in Truganina. 

Reporting to the Automated DC Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations at Altona while managing the transition activities to Truganina — covering labour, equipment, change management, communications, IT, and more. This is a pivotal role where your expertise will ensure a seamless and successful transformation of our DC operations.

About you

We are seeking a Senior Operations Manager – Transition with extensive experience in Distribution Centre operations.

In addition, you will have:

• The ability to ensure DC safety standards are consistently maintained to a high level, fully compliant with company guidelines and regulatory expectations.
• Strong capability to monitor, manage, and drive DC performance and productivity against target measures, ensuring operational excellence across all functions.
• Demonstrated expertise in leading Industrial Relations and Employee Relations matters, acting as the senior site leader to foster positive workplace relations.
• Exceptional leadership skills to inspire, engage, and develop the Altona site team, building a high-performing and collaborative team culture.
