The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join our growing team in Sydney NSW.

Working across a range of commercial customer sites, you’ll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault finding, repair and installation of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.

This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced technician who takes pride in their workmanship, provides excellent customer service and can work safely and independently while being part of a supportive team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Service and maintain commercial HVAC and air-conditioning systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and refrigeration faults.
• Carry out commercial air-conditioning installation and associated works.
• Complete fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Attend customer sites and provide professional and reliable service.
• Identify additional maintenance and repair requirements.
• Complete service reports, job sheets and required documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with relevant standards and company procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and professional presentation.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

What You’ll Bring

• Extensive experience in commercial HVAC service, maintenance, repair and installation.
• Australian Refrigeration and Air Conditioning trade qualification.
• Current and valid ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence.
• Current NSW Restricted Electrical Licence or appropriate electrical licence.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Proven experience in servicing, preventative maintenance, fault finding and repairs.
• Experience with commercial air-conditioning installation.
• Strong focus and commitment to OH&S and safe work practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A genuine can-do attitude and willingness to develop your skills.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home when required.

• Dual Trade qualifications.
• Experience across a broad range of commercial HVAC systems.
• Commercial refrigeration experience.
• Experience working across healthcare, government, retail, hospitality or other commercial environments.
