Sales Operations Manager — Giftbee
Melbourne | Hybrid | Full-time
About Giftbee
Giftbee is an Australian B2B fintech building the infrastructure for digital and physical gift card payments. We work with some of Australia’s leading market research firms and are growing fast. We’re backed by Antler and building toward becoming Australia’s next fintech unicorn. The team is lean, the pace is fast, and every hire matters.
The role
We’re looking for a Sales Operations Manager who can build the operational backbone of a scaling fintech — not just manage it.
This role sits across sales process, client onboarding, customer service and business operations. You’ll identify what’s manual and shouldn’t be, build the systems and automations to fix it, and make sure the commercial engine runs cleanly as we grow.
Initially you’ll roll your sleeves up on day-to-day operations while you’re getting across the business. Over time the job shifts toward building — fewer manual tasks, more systems, more leverage.
What you’ll own
Sales process design and optimisation — pipeline hygiene, tooling, reporting
Client onboarding — from contract to live, fast and friction-free
Customer service operations — improving response quality and speed, reducing manual load through automation
Business process improvement — finding what’s broken, building what’s better
AI and automation — this isn’t a nice-to-have, it’s central to how we expect this role to operate
Who we’re looking for
You’ve worked in a high-growth or startup environment and thrived in ambiguity
You think in systems and outcomes, not tasks and activities
You reach for AI and automation tools instinctively, not as an afterthought
No job is beneath you when the business needs it done
You communicate clearly and can push back when something isn’t right
What we’re not looking for
Someone who needs a clear playbook to follow. If you want fully defined processes and a stable environment, this isn’t the right role.
To apply
Send us a short note on a process you’ve automated or a system you’ve built — what the problem was, what you built, and what it changed. No cover letter template needed.
