Following our recent expansion into Queensland, we are looking for an experienced Sales & Operations Manager to continue driving this growth. In this pivotal role, you will take the lead in growing our presence, representing Goldsmith, strengthening client relationships, opening doors to new opportunities, and driving the next phase of our regional growth with full support from our experienced team in Victoria.

About the Role In this hands-on leadership role, you will:

  • Build on and maintain strong client relationships we have already established, while developing new connections to expand Goldsmith’s footprint.
  • Lead and support on-site teams, helping to grow a capable and high-performing local workforce.
  • Drive new business opportunities across civil projects, plant hire, and transport.
  • Oversee transport, plant, and equipment operations as the division becomes fully operational.
  • Support all aspects of site management, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to Goldsmith’s high standards.
  • Take ownership of growing operations in Queensland, managing the challenges and opportunities that come with expanding into a new market.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or operations management.
  • Experience managing teams on-site and coordinating project activities.
  • Strong understanding of civil construction or plant hire operations.
  • Relevant qualifications in civil construction, project management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to work independently, make decisions, and drive business growth.
  • Current valid drivers’ licence.
  • Familiarity with transport and logistics operations preferred.
