New Richmond Road Stage 2 construction will reduce congestion, improve safety and provide improved flood resilience between Richmond and North Richmond. It addresses congestion issues caused by traffic increases from a growing population, by aiming to improve travel times and provide more reliable access during flooding events.

The Richmond Bridge Stage 2 Project includes:

  • Building a new four lane bridge over the Hawkesbury River
  • Widening of Bells Line of Road through North Richmond
  • Building a new bypass between the Kurrajong Road / Old Kurrajong Road intersection and the Castlereagh Road / Southee Road intersection
  • New connections for pedestrians and bicycle users, from Richmond and North Richmond
  • Intersection upgrade at Grose Vale Road and widening on Bells Line of Road
  • Building the Southee Road bypass, including noise mitigations and landscaping.

Join Fulton Hogan and be part of delivering a project that will leave a lasting impact, building better, safer infrastructure for communities now and into the future.
