We’re offering a $4,000 sign-on bonus for compassionate and experienced Drug and Alcohol (AOD) Registered Nurses to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team at the Melbourne Immigration Detention Centre. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals facing substance use challenges while ensuring a safe and supportive setting, within a primary care framework.
Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 4:00pm (flexible - day shift only)

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with either a postgraduate qualification in Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) and at least 5 years’ AOD specialty experience, or a minimum of 7 years’ specialist AOD nursing experience. Experience in substance use or AOD nursing is essential, while experience in high-security or detention settings is desirable. Strong communication skills and a compassionate, non-judgemental approach are highly valued.
