·Operate all plant
equipment, machinery and vehicles in a safe and efficient way according to
all relevant legislation and company policies and procedures.
·Handling of organic and
inorganic waste during the production of the soil and compost in accordance
with set policies, procedures, regulations and legislation.
·Perform daily safety
and maintenance checks and advise manger of any service and/or maintenance
requirements.
·Ensure all activities
meet with and integrate with organisational requirements for quality
management.
·Ensure care in the use
and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
·Clean plant equipment
and machinery as scheduled and/or required.
·Ensure plant equipment
and machinery are safely and securely stored.
·Assist in the training and development of new
employees.
·Actively participate in site toolbox talks.
·Performs miscellaneous position related duties and
labour as required.
·Take ownership for your own health and safety for those
matters within your control or ability to influence.
·Work with colleagues to promote health and safety,
environment and quality and ensure that it becomes a part of everyday
business.
·Be accountable as an individual to enhance and promote
a “safety-first” culture within the business.
·Ensure duty of care obligations are met as required
under Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
