We’re looking for a People & Payroll Administrator to join our supportive Office Operations Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives on organisation, and takes pride in ensuring things run smoothly behind the scenes.

About the Role

This is a varied administration role supporting our people, payroll, learning and development, compliance and business systems functions.

Working closely with our People & Culture Manager and wider Head Office team, you’ll assist with recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, employee records, training coordination and compliance activities that help keep our organisation running effectively.

No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and loves being part of a collaborative team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Preparing employment contracts and employee documentation
  • Maintaining employee records and HR systems
  • Assisting with payroll administration and timesheet processing
  • Coordinating mandatory training and learning records
  • Monitoring employee compliance requirements and checks
  • Supporting Employment Hero, Wyzed and other business systems
  • Maintaining registers, reports and organisational records
  • Providing administrative support across the Office Operations Team

  • Confident working across multiple systems and tasks
  • Committed to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who genuinely cares about people and contributes positively to a supportive and collaborative workplace culture.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in administration, HR administration, payroll administration or a similar support role
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience maintaining accurate records and confidential information
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and confidently

Beneficial but Not Essential

Experience using:

  • Employment Hero
  • Paycat
  • ShiftCare
  • Wyzed Learning Management System
  • Microsoft 365 and SharePoint

Don’t worry if you haven’t used these systems before. We’re happy to teach the right person.
