The Opportunity

We are seeking qualified Paramedics to join our casual pool supporting the ERS site teams. These roles are FIFO from Perth, typically 2 weeks on, with a mix of days and nights.

The Paramedic provides advanced emergency medical care involving assessing patient conditions, making critical decisions under pressure, and delivering swift, effective medical treatment in emergency situations. You will respond to on-site emergencies and ensure the site is maintained in a state of readiness. With no two days the same, you will use your technical expertise and your ability to communicate to provide expert care to our site team members, visitors and the surrounding community. Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Providing advanced pre-hospital care to patients in need
  • Liaising and consulting with medical service providers as required
  • Conducting drug and alcohol screening
  • Operating and maintaining the site medical centres and ambulances to ensure operational readiness whilst maintaining hygiene standards

Required Certifications & Licences

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Advanced Life Support Certification
  • Current Registration with AHPRA with no restrictions
  • Collect Specimens other than blood – HLTPAT005
  • Provide First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Valid and unrestricted Manual Drivers Licence (minimum C class)
  • National Police Clearance (obtained in the last 6 months)

Desirable Certifications and Licences

  • Post Graduate clinical qualifications (or working towards)
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety
  • Drive under Operational Conditions
  • Operate and maintain a 4WD

About You

  • Ideally located in WA
  • At least 5 years experience in a pre-hospital care role
  • Advanced skills in Airway management, Critical incident management, and Complex trauma management
  • Team orientated nature with excellent communications skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to provide a high standard of customer service and establish strong working relationships
