About the Role
We are seeking an experienced signalling professional to join the Signals, Comms & Plant (SCP) Reliability Engineering Team supporting WAIO Rail.
Reporting to the Reliability Lead, Signals, Comms & Plant (SCP), this role is responsible for improving the reliability, availability and performance of signalling assets across the WAIO rail network. Working closely with Maintenance, Engineering and Projects teams, you will provide technical leadership in asset management, maintenance strategy optimisation, defect elimination and lifecycle planning, using data-driven decision making to support safe, reliable and sustainable operations.
The successful candidate will combine strong technical and analytical capabilities with passion for improving asset reliability, safety and performance. You will play a key role in monitoring asset performance, driving reliability improvement initiatives and influencing asset management decisions to support the long-term sustainability of signalling assets across WAIO's rail network.
Whether you are an experienced Reliability Engineer or an experienced signalling professional looking to transition into reliability engineering, this role offers the opportunity to broaden your capability in asset management, maintenance strategy development and asset performance improvement.
