Our team predominately work in residential type environments including Outreach Support, Youth Residential Out of Home Care as well as supporting emergency placements in crisis accommodation, supervised family contact and placement support arrangements.
About the role:
As the Operations Manager for Yalga Connect you will be overseeing the provision of high-quality care, support and supervision to young people in care of the Department of Child Safety, Women and Children in line with Yalga Connect policies and procedures, and legislative requirements. Through creating and maintaining a trauma informed, culturally therapeutic homelike 24/7 Residential Care Service, effective teamwork, casework and consistent practices, the Operations Manager works alongside the CEO in ensuring team members are assisting young people to achieve agreed personal, educational, health, behavioural and social development outcomes.
The Operations Manager is an integral member of the Yalga Connect Senior Leadership Team, they provide leadership and oversee the end-to-end program operations, including service development/delivery and people management, in order to meet organisational goals, improve organisational performance and promote a professional, high-functioning and collaborative culture.
About you:
The ideal person for this role would be flexible, adaptable, and open to learning. You will have the previously demonstrated ability and skills work with young people who display highly complex and challenging behaviours along with understanding the complexities and support needs of how to support professionals within this setting. You will have experience within the Child Protection sector in a management position.
