We’re looking for a National Distribution Manager to lead the performance and continuous improvement of our distribution network, ensuring our products move safely and efficiently through our national network.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, you will lead our national distribution function across four manufacturing sites, including warehouse operations, dispatch, transport partnerships and customer delivery performance.
You’ll work closely with Operations, IT, Planning, Commercial and our external partners to deliver outstanding service while identifying smarter and more efficient ways of working.

Specifically, you’ll:
- Strengthen cold-chain compliance, safety standards and product integrity across the network.
- Lead performance across our national warehousing, dispatch and transport operations.
- Develop a small team while partnering with site and national leaders to build capability, accountability and deliver consistent performance.
- Identify opportunities through network optimisation, process improvement and challenging current ways of working.
- Partner with transport providers to strengthen performance, transparency and future capability.
- Drive warehouse productivity through labour efficiency, layout optimisation, systems improvements and automation opportunities.
About You
You’re an experienced distribution, logistics or supply chain professional who loves making things work better. You’re familiar with fast-paced industries and enjoy being close to the operation, working with teams, solving problems and finding smarter ways to deliver great outcomes.
You may already be leading a national distribution network, or you may be an experienced operational leader ready to take the next step. More important than your title is your ability to bring people together, solve problems and challenge thinking.
You bring:
- Experience in distribution, warehousing, transport or supply chain operations, ideally within food, produce, retail or another fast-moving environment.
- A hands-on leadership style with the ability to engage people, build strong relationships and work collaboratively across teams and functions.
- Curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset, using data, insights and frontline knowledge to challenge “the way we’ve always done it” and identify better ways of working.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to improve cost, productivity and service outcomes across transport and warehouse operations.
- The ability to work with internal teams and external partners to resolve problems quickly, create alignment and deliver on commitments.
- A strong safety and risk mindset, with the ability to identify hazards, manage operational risk and embed safe work practices across teams and partners.
- A resourceful approach, balancing operational priorities while identifying opportunities that strengthen our business for the future.
