Forklift Operator / Yard Person

The Role:

Adbri Masonry is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator / Yardperson to join their busy dispatch yard in Pooraka. You’ll be working in a fast-paced outdoor yard environment, preparing customer orders, loading trucks, and keeping products moving across South Australia. The role offers variety throughout the day, a strong team culture, and the security of consistent full-time work.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Working with masonry products including bricks, pavers, retaining wall blocks
• Loading and unloading trucks using a 4.5–5 tonne forklift
• Preparing orders for transport to hardware stores and suppliers across SA
• Picking and packing customer orders
• General yard housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Wrapping and labelling products for dispatch
• Following Chain of Responsibility and safety procedures

This is a permanent, full time role working Monday – Friday 8am – 4.30pm

What We’re Looking For:

If you enjoy staying active, working as part of a tight-knit team and taking ownership of your work, this is a great opportunity to build your skills in a busy manufacturing environment. Ideally you’ll bring:

• Current LF Forklift Licence (experience operating 4.5tonne forklifts is beneficial, but training can be provided).
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and attendance record
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when picking orders
• Experience in warehousing, yard, landscaping, manufacturing or similar environments
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
