Maroochydore GWM & Renault, part of the Pacific Gympie dealership group, is seeking a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician to join our busy and growing service department on the Sunshine Coast.

We represent GWM and Renault, offering technicians the opportunity to work with modern vehicles, factory training, and strong workshop support in a professional, well-resourced environment.

About the role

You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, diagnostics and repairs in line with manufacturer standards while contributing positively to workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

• General servicing, repairs and diagnostics on light vehicles
• Warranty repairs and recall work to manufacturer standards
• Accurate completion of job cards and diagnostic reports
• Maintaining workshop cleanliness and safety standards
• Working collaboratively with service advisers and parts teams

About you:

• Qualified Automotive Technician (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology)
• Current driver’s licence – MANDATORY
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, team-focused and professional work ethic
• Previous dealership experience preferred but not essential
