Job Description
Albemarle is hiring for a Logistics Controls Specialist. This position is hybrid and is located in Budapest.
What You Will Do
- The Logistics Controls Specialist will execute the freight and warehousing strategy and assist with the continuous monitoring and improvement of 3rd party warehouse and logistics payment processes to ensure timely payments to our Logistics Service Providers.
- This role reports to the Logistics Controls Manager and is governed by policies and frameworks established by Albemarle.

Required:
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative critical thinking skills
- Data driven to address partner & customer needs, incorporates feedback
- Proficiency level in Power BI, Excel and SAP S4
- Meticulous and proactive
- Demonstrates a compliance and customer service mindset
- Listens to others to respond effectively to ideas and questions
- Build and maintain effective working relationships
- Collaborator and effectively prioritizes tasks
- Ability to work comfortably with internal regional and global customers
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
- Finished higher education studies
Preferred:
- Advanced understanding of business processes supported by various stakeholders and domains (Customer, Material, Vendor, Routes, etc.)
- Auditor mindset with attention to detail and compliance
