What you’ll be doing
- Lead your team with hands‑on guidance on diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, fuel systems, cooling systems, etc
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance, ensuring all machinery remains service-ready and compliant.
- Manage procurement and inventory, raise POs, order parts, track stock, and oversee admin
- Maintain accurate records of fleet logs, maintenance history, and compliance documentation
- Enforce safety & compliance protocols, including inductions and procedures.
What you’ll bring
- Qualified diesel mechanic with an HR driver’s license (mandatory)
- Proven leadership experience or willingness to step into a leadership role, managing both employees and subcontractors.
- Demonstrated experience with heavy vehicles (Front & Rear Lift trucks) and plant machinery
- Competency with basic IT tools
- A calm and adaptable approach under pressure
