NEPEAN Longwall® (a division of NEPEAN™) partners with its customers to design, engineer, integrate, and support longwall equipment and systems. With purpose-built facilities located in both Queensland and New South Wales, NEPEAN Longwall offers a full suite of after-sales services enabling it to support products throughout their life cycle. The experienced, committed, and motivated team at NEPEAN Longwall has demonstrated their capability over many years to deliver longwall equipment and system solutions.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, NEPEAN Longwall is seeking experienced Boilermakers to join our workshop team in Kurri Kurri, NSW.
These opportunities are available on a full-time permanent basis, with both AM and PM shift options available. Working as part of a highly skilled team, you'll contribute to the manufacture, refurbishment, repair, and maintenance of industry-leading underground mining equipment while enjoying excellent employee benefits and career development opportunities.

As a Boilermaker, you will play a key role in the fabrication, repair, refurbishment, and maintenance of underground longwall mining equipment and associated components.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Structural and component fabrication on longwall mining equipment
- Repair, refurbishment, and maintenance of underground mining equipment
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Fabrication and welding activities to industry and company standards
- Operating in accordance with quality, safety, and production requirements
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area to workshop standards
- Working collaboratively within a skilled and experienced team environment
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Boilermaker trade qualification
- Structural steel fabrication experience (essential)
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- Legal rights to work in Australia
- Ability to work either AM or PM shift
- Longwall or underground mining equipment experience
- Overhead crane experience
- Forklift Licence
- Current Driver's Licence
- Experience working in mining, heavy industry, manufacturing, or industrial environments
