Are you someone who is quick on a computer, eager to learn and enjoys a fast-paced environment?

We’re looking for a reliable, switched-on and enthusiastic junior team member to join our small, friendly team in Warriewood, Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

This is a great opportunity for someone who may be early in their career and is looking to build their administration, scheduling and customer service skills. You don’t need years of experience, what’s most important to us is that you’re organised, confident using computers, willing to learn and have a great attitude.

About the Role

You’ll be joining a professional and supportive team that delivers essential workplace health services across Australia and New Zealand.

Our environment is busy and varied, so no two days are exactly the same. You’ll need to be comfortable juggling different tasks, picking up new systems quickly and working to deadlines.

We’ll provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you learn the role and develop your skills. You’ll work closely with a small team where everyone plays an important part in keeping the business running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Quick and confident on a computer, with the ability to learn new systems and software quickly.
  • Eager to learn and willing to take on new tasks and responsibilities.
  • Organised and reliable, with a strong eye for detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change throughout the day.
  • A clear and confident communicator who is comfortable speaking with customers and team members.
  • A positive, friendly person who enjoys being part of a small, close-knit team.
  • Proactive and willing to have a go at solving problems rather than waiting to be told what to do.
  • Someone with a good sense of humour who will contribute positively to the team!

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager, you will assist with a range of administration and scheduling tasks, including:

  • Monitoring the central inbox and responding to emails and phone calls.
  • Scheduling current and future jobs and making changes based on client requirements.
  • Entering service requests and maintaining accurate scheduling information.
  • Assisting with staff rosters and availability.
  • Picking and packing supplies.
  • Organising travel requirements for staff members.
  • Providing general administrative support to the team as required.

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong computer skills and confidence learning new IT systems.
  • Good organisation and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise competing tasks.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
  • Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a supportive team player.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a busy environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel, is advantageous.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Previous administration, customer service, scheduling or office experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Recent school leavers or candidates with limited work experience are encouraged to apply if they demonstrate the right attitude and willingness to learn.
  • HSC or equivalent.
  • Experience working with IT systems or software is advantageous.
  • Experience in the health or medical industry is advantageous but not essential.

If you’re a motivated, tech-savvy junior who learns quickly, enjoys being busy and wants to develop your skills within a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.
