We're seeking an experienced Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Training Planner & Scheduler to coordinate and optimise training delivery based in Perth. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised planner with strong scheduling, stakeholder engagement and reporting skills.

Working closely with trainers, operational leaders and key stakeholders, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring training is delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule.

About the Role
As the Training Planner & Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing integrated training schedules, coordinating training delivery and ensuring resources are effectively utilised across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain integrated training schedules across multiple operational sites.
  • Coordinate short, medium and long-term planning activities.
  • Balance training demand with available trainer capacity and resources.
  • Monitor schedules and proactively resolve conflicts and scheduling issues.
  • Work closely with operational leaders, trainers and support teams to ensure successful training delivery.
  • Produce performance reports and dashboards to measure utilisation and training outcomes.
  • Analyse operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support workforce planning initiatives through accurate forecasting and scheduling.
  • Drive continuous improvement across planning and scheduling processes.
  • Ensure planning activities are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
About You
You'll be an organised and analytical planner who enjoys solving complex scheduling challenges and working with a wide range of stakeholders.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in Planning, Scheduling, Workforce Planning or Project Coordination.
  • Advanced Microsoft Project experience.
  • Strong experience working with SAP or similar enterprise systems.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience balancing resource capacity against operational demand.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
Highly Regarded
  • Experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Experience within mining, construction, heavy industry, training, maintenance or operational environments.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with strong attention to detail.
