Job Description
Job Description

This role provides enterprise‑level ownership of MRO process design, standardization, optimization, and adoption across regions, functions, and business units. The GMPO establishes and enforces global policies, procedures, system standards, and controls to ensure consistent execution, regulatory compliance, and alignment with Albemarle’s operating model and the Albemarle Way of Excellence.
As the business owner for SAP S/4 MRO inventory and planning processes, the GMPO partners closely with Maintenance, Supply Chain, IT, and global stakeholders to drive governance, change management, analytics, and continuous improvement. While sites retain day‑to‑day execution responsibility, this role ensures clarity, consistency, and performance at scale.

MRO Inventory & Storeroom Optimization
- Define and govern global MRO inventory strategies that balance material availability, operational reliability, and working capital.
- Govern inventory planning, replenishment, lifecycle management, and spare parts sharing to reduce excess and improve utilization.

Stakeholder, Technology & Performance Enablement
- Partner with Manufacturing Excellence and IT to shape SAP roadmaps, system enhancements, and MRO technology innovation.
- Collaborate with other Global Process Owners to enable end‑to‑end process integration and eliminate cross‑functional inefficiencies.
- Represent MRO and inventory processes in governance forums and enterprise decision‑making councils.
