We are seeking full-time forklift operators with loading experience to work on the afternoon shift

of our transport department at our Erskine Park, NSW site.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Your roles will include:

• Operating a forklift to move, unload, load, or put away freight.
• Ensure shipments are accurate, free of damage, and labelled clearly.
• Efficiently and securely stack and store products in appropriate areas.
• Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
• Manual Handling duties
• Operating a counterbalance forklift – unloading, loading trailers and rigid trucks.
• Experience with Mez floors
• Use of restraints – gates, straps and angles
• Accuracy of weight distribution when loading
• Understanding the loading and unloading processes
• Manual Handling Duties – Includes Sortation of cartons/parcels
• RF scanning
• Being able to work unsupervised and as a team
• CoR understanding

Skills and experience

• Candidates must be experienced in the operation of forklifts, with truck loading experience. 
• Candidates must have a relevant forklift license.
• You must be literate and numerate with some basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of local and regional NSW areas 
• Basic Knowledge of interstate locations
