THE ROLE

We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift / Side Loader Operator to join our AM shift team, on a casual basis in Darra, QLD.

This role places a strong focus on contributing to our vision of being fast, flexible and frequent, is โ€˜hands-onโ€™, and incorporates the following tasks:

  • Loading, unloading, receiving, relocating & storing products, with accuracy;
  • Following warehouse traffic management plans; and
  • Manually picking and packing orders, if & when required.

KEY COMPETENCIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Comply with legislated & company WH&S systems;
  • Ensure Load optimisation;
  • Inspect & perform minor maintenance on machinery;
  • Comply with all company policies & legal guidelines;
  • Liaise professionally & politely with stakeholders;
  • Accurate attention to detail, of information & data; and
  • Undertake additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Current forklift ticket with min. 3 years of operational experience;
  • Side-loader experience, well regarded;
  • Strong working knowledge of WH&S legislation;
  • Previous experience loading trucks with product, highly regarded;
  • Demonstrated attention to detail with effective written & verbal communication;
  • Collaborative interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF Scanners, is desirable;
  • Familiarity with timber warehouse operations is desirable; and
  • Evidenced reliability and professionalism.
