FIFO – Carpenter – Remote

We are currently recruiting for experienced Carpenters to join our team. 

you will need to be able to work a minimum 10 – 12hrs a day on a 2:1 roster.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Trade Qualification – Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent)
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Working at Heights and EWP tickets desirable
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
• Strong safety attitude and awareness
• Team player with a proactive and reliable attitude

Role Details

• Install structures, fixtures, verandas, and modular buildings
• Frame, form, and finish carpentry tasks including fit-outs and joinery
• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install timber and other materials
• Use power and hand tools safely and effectively
• Install doors, windows, skirtings, and cabinetry
• Erect temporary supports or scaffolding as needed
• Follow site safety procedures including pre-starts and Take 5s
