Our Leed Plant division has an extensive plant and equipment fleet of over 200 units, allowing us to control resources and provide clients with confidence that labour and equipment will be available when required. Our fleet is modern and well maintained by our dedicated asset management teams and provides critical project support to both Leed-focused ventures and our clients. Our fleet includes articulated dump trucks, excavators, graders, dozers, heavy transport vehicles, and loaders.

About the Role:

To support our project delivery, we require a trade qualified and experienced heavy vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our team. Based in our Golden Grove workshop, this role may also be required to travel to various metropolitan, regional and interstate project sites as required.

• Performing repairs and maintenance on heavy diesel equipment.

• Diagnosing and conducting preventative maintenance.

• Reconditioning and rebuilding engines and hydraulic components.

• Maintaining accurate service records to a high standard.

• Communicating effectively with management and staff to address issues.

About You:

As an integral part of our project team, you will be responsible for servicing and repairs to a range of heavy plant and light trucks and vehicles, additionally:

• You will have excellent mechanical servicing and diagnostic skills and enjoy fault finding.

• You will be thorough with your follow-through to ensure reporting and tracking of repairs and maintenance to assist with operations forecasting and monitoring.

• An effective communicator, you will build and maintain strong working relationships with all key stakeholders.

• With safety as your focus, you will execute all tasks in accordance with plant and equipment manufacturer’s specifications, as well as company policies, systems and safety procedures (AS standards and industry guidelines and practices).

To be considered for this role you will:

• Have completed a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.

• Hold experience within a similar role preferably within the civil or heavy industries.

• Have strong communication skills.

• Demonstrate an absolute commitment to safety.

• Have excellent attention to detail.

• Hold a current drivers license.
