We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Farm Hand to join our team at Godolphin Kelvinside, one of our premium breeding locations near Aberdeen, NSW. This opportunity is open to both experienced candidates and those looking to start or develop their career in the agricultural industry, including trainees.

Reporting to the Farm Manager, you will play a valued role in supporting the day-to-day operations, helping maintain the quality, safety, and presentation of the property. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in contributing to high standards within a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the upkeep and presentation of a thoroughbred breeding property
  • Installation, maintenance and repair of livestock fencing
  • Pasture maintenance, such as sowing, spraying, fertilising and slashing
  • Operation and monitoring of irrigation systems (including repositioning and basic maintenance)
  • Daily care of cattle, including feeding, watering, livestock movements and injury recognition
  • Maintenance of landscaped areas, including lawns, weed management, and pest control
  • Safe and efficient operation of tractors and associated farm machinery

This role would suit someone who:

  • Takes pride in maintaining high-quality farm infrastructure
  • Enjoy hands-on outdoor work in a fast-paced environment
  • Are reliable, safety-focused and self-motivated
  • Have experience operating farm machinery and equipment (desirable, not essential for trainees)
  • Value being part of a small, close-knit team
  • Holds a chemical accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
  • Holds a current driver’s licence
