Farm Hand
GOFARM Operations PtyAbout us:
GO.FARM is an Australian-owned, high-conviction agricultural investor, developer and manager with a clear purpose: to transform Australian agriculture.
We identify underutilised and undercapitalised agricultural assets and reimagine them through land use change, investment in people, and adoption of climate-smart technologies. Our investment decisions and operations are underpinned by our Responsible Agriculture Framework, which guides our stewardship of natural capital, people and communities.
About the role:
We’re looking for a Farm Hand to join our team.
This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety. Depending on the season, you could be operating machinery, helping with irrigation, maintaining farm infrastructure, supporting planting and harvest activities, or completing general farm work.
You’ll work as part of a close-knit team and be supported to learn new skills and take on more responsibility as you develop.
In this role, you will:
- Operate tractors, farm machinery and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Assist with planting, spraying, irrigation, harvesting and other seasonal farm activities.
- Carry out general farm maintenance, repairs and property upkeep.
- Complete basic machinery checks and help keep equipment clean, maintained and ready to use.
- Identify issues early and let your Manager know when something doesn’t look right.
- Follow farm procedures and safe work practices.
- Keep work areas, machinery and facilities clean and organised.
- Other duties as required.
About you:
You’re reliable, practical and enjoy working outdoors. You take pride in doing a good job, look after the equipment you use and are happy to pitch in wherever the team needs a hand.
You don’t need to know everything when you start. A good attitude, willingness to learn and strong work ethic are just as important to us as previous experience.
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally bring:
- Previous experience working on a farm, with machinery or in another hands-on environment
- Confidence operating machinery, or a willingness to learn.
- A current driver’s licence.
- A practical approach to problem-solving.
- Reliability and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- A strong commitment to working safely.
- Flexibility to work additional hours during busy seasonal periods when required.
Why work for GO.FARM:
We want GO.FARM to be a place where good people can build a long-term career in agriculture.
You’ll benefit from:
- Real investment in your development, including 5% of your annual salary dedicated to learning.
- Wellbeing programs that support your financial, physical and mental health.
- A values-led culture built on being humble, caring, respectful, courageous, curious, solutions focused, driven and fun.
- Flexibility through enhanced leave options, salary sacrifice opportunities and competitive incentives.
If this sounds like a journey you want to be a part of, apply now and come grow with GO.FARM.
