WHO we are looking for:

RSC is seeking expressions of interest from Senior Field Technicians/Field Supervisors and Field Technicians interested in joining our talent pool to support client-led exploration programs in Western Australia, interstate and internationally. Are you a Senior Field Technician/Field Supervisor who has an excellent attitude towards safety with a positive and “can-do” attitude looking for your next challenge?

As a successful applicant you will work closely with our clients and exploration team to deliver a superior exploration field consulting service.

Project durations will vary, depending on the length of the exploration campaign and drill program.

This is an opportunity to get exposed to exploration projects whilst having:

  • contracts varying from short to long-term;
  • a range of companies from private groups to multinationals; and
  • projects across a range of commodities and rosters.

Ideally, you will have these capabilities and experience in your toolkit:

  • 4-5 years experience managing crews during drilling campaigns;
  • extensive WHS knowledge, safety leadership or safety specific training;
  • experience with project logistics (managing camps and projects);
  • ability to manage onsite contractors, including drillers as required;
  • experience in daily reporting and field record keeping
  • excellent communication skills;
  • the adaptability to work in different terrains and projects; and
  • the ability to be thinking 5 steps ahead.

To be considered you will need:

  • a current manual driver’s licence;
  • senior first aid certification;
  • a National Police Clearance;
  • the right to work in Australia; and
  • the ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen.

The following experience will be held in high regard:

  • 4WD training certification;
  • HR licence; and
  • forklift certification.

Remuneration is dependent upon your relevant experience. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the right to work in Australia.
