We are currently seeking field technicians to assist with project-based work of varying lengths across Australia.

WHO we are looking for to join our Exploration Contracting Team

At RSC we believe a great Field Technician:

The successful applicants will work closely with our exploration team to deliver a superior field consulting services to our clients.

Project durations will vary depending on the length of the exploration campaign and drill programme.

You will have these capabilities and experience in your toolkit:

  • the ability to be thinking 5 steps ahead;
  • a talent for logistics;
  • excellent communication skills; and
  • safety focus to support a positive safety culture in field and promote a NO HARM approach to undertaking tasks.

Experience which will be highly regarded includes:

  • experience in a similar role in RAB, RC, AC and/or DD programmes;
  • experience clearing, preparing and rehabilitating tracks and drill sites;
  • WHS knowledge, or safety specific training;
  • experience working in remote locations;
  • HR and/or forklift licence;
  • 4WD training with certification of completion.

To be considered you will need:

  • ability to work in field for 2-week stints in remote locations;
  • a current Australian manual driver’s licence;
  • a current Provide First Aid or Provide First Aid in remote or isolated site certificate (including current CPR);
  • a National Police Clearance;
  • the ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen; and
  • the right to work in Australia.

Applicants should posses a proactive, flexible and diligent work ethic with the ability to work in a remote team environment.

Remuneration is dependent upon your relevant experience. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the right to work in Australia.
