What’s on offer?
With the continued growth of our Eastern Region Construction team in NSW (ERC), we’re looking for an Estimator to join us in Alexandria. Reporting to the Pre-Contracts Manager, you’ll play an important role within our Pre-Contracts team, supporting the delivery of high-quality, competitive tenders.

This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated and enjoys working in a collaborative environment where your contribution directly shapes successful project outcomes. You’ll be involved across the full tender lifecycle, working closely with internal teams, subcontractors and clients to deliver strong commercial and technical solutions.

What you’ll do?
• Review tender documentation, including specifications and project requirements
• Undertake site visits to inform methodology and pricing assumptions
• Prepare scopes of work, quantities and resource requirements
• Complete first-principles estimates, including take-offs and cost build-ups
• Coordinate subcontractor pricing and carry out detailed price analysis
• Contribute to tender submissions, reviews and handover to delivery teams

How you’ll connect to the role?
We’re looking for an Estimator with several years’ experience pricing civil infrastructure projects from first principles, who understands what it takes to put together accurate and competitive tenders. You’ll bring strong attention to detail, a commercial mindset and the ability to work through complex information with confidence.

You’re someone who builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers, and communicates clearly across all levels. Experience in project delivery, relevant engineering qualifications and familiarity with estimating systems such as Expert Estimation will be highly regarded.

Our people share the same set of values that keep us REAL. Respect, Energy and Effort, Attitude and Leadership encapsulate what we stand for at Fulton Hogan and encourage us to foster a diverse and inclusive culture where we listen to, care for, celebrate, and respect everyone.

Through our First Nations Engagement Strategy and Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), we aim to promote opportunities, cultural understanding and partnerships that celebrate and acknowledge the contributions of Indigenous communities.

If our values resonate with you, please submit an application for the position. If you’re not sure that you meet 100% of the selection criteria, that’s okay, we would still like to hear from you and potentially discuss how your skills could be utilised at Fulton Hogan.
