The Role

We are looking for an E-Commerce Operations Manager to own the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of JET Charge’s Retail and Wholesale online store.

This is an execution-focused role. You will be responsible for making sure the work happens, the store runs smoothly, and the processes behind it improve as the channel scales.

You will work across store content, customer experience, order fulfilment, systems, process improvement and cross-functional execution. The goal is to make the store more accurate, reliable and efficient, while reducing the amount of manual effort required to keep it running.

This role will suit someone who enjoys solving operational problems, working across multiple teams, and turning messy or repeated work into clear, repeatable processes.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing the day-to-day operation of JET Charge’s Retail and Wholesale online store.
  • Keeping product information, imagery, specifications and supporting content accurate, high quality and current.
  • Improving the customer experience across the store, from product discovery through to order fulfilment.
  • Working with Operations, Warehouse, Marketing, Finance, Tech, BD and external partners to keep orders moving reliably from cart to customer.
  • Identifying fulfilment issues, process gaps or customer experience problems and working with the right teams to fix them at the source.
  • Supporting priority growth initiatives for the channel, including referral programs, pricing initiatives, partnerships and new ways to acquire or serve customers.
  • Turning new initiatives into documented, repeatable processes once they are stable.
  • Looking across procurement, operations, finance and BD workflows to identify repeated work and improve it through SOPs, automation or system changes.
  • Partnering with the Tech team and external vendors to improve the store and the systems that support it.
  • Pulling the right people together, agreeing next steps clearly, and following through to execution.

What You’ll Bring

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced operating environment.
  • Experience in e-commerce, operations, growth, process improvement, business operations or a similar role.
  • Comfort working in a growth company where the playbook may not already exist.
  • Strong data orientation, with the ability to use numbers to understand problems, set goals and decide where to focus.
  • A process and systems mindset, with the ability to think in workflows, owners, handoffs and repeatable ways of working.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across different teams.
  • Confidence working cross-functionally with teams such as Operations, Warehouse, Marketing, Finance, Tech, BD and external partners.
  • High ownership and follow-through, with the ability to stay close to a problem until it is resolved.
  • A practical, hands-on approach to execution and improvement.
  • Curiosity, initiative and the ability to move between different types of problems without losing focus.
