Are you passionate about demand planning and inventory optimisation? Retail Food Group is looking for a Demand Planner & Inventory Controller to drive accurate forecasting, optimise stock levels, and support seamless supply across our multi-brand network.

This is a temporary role with a 4 month contract.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Manage inventory levels across multiple warehouses to minimise stockouts and excess stock
  • Develop accurate demand forecasts using D365, factoring in promotions, seasonality and market trends
  • Monitor stock movements, cycle counts and warehouse accuracy through D365
  • Analyse key metrics such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover and fill rates
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments for domestic and international distribution
  • Work with third-party logistics providers to improve transport efficiency and reduce lead times
  • Resolve supply disruptions and ensure reliable product availability
  • Build strong supplier relationships, including performance reviews and joint planning
  • Partner with franchise owners, outlet managers and internal teams to gather demand insights
  • Align supply chain plans with procurement, production and marketing strategies
  • Lead demand planning initiatives and supply chain best-practice methodologies
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy and service levels
  • Influence key supply chain decisions during peak periods and supply challenges
  • Support budgeting and financial planning through accurate demand forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting and audit requirements

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a proactive and analytical supply chain professional who thrives on optimising demand planning and inventory performance in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment. You’ll bring hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365’s demand planning and inventory modules, strong commercial acumen, and a collaborative approach to working with franchise partners, suppliers, and internal teams to drive accurate forecasting, efficient stock management, and business growth.

You’ll also bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (professional certifications highly regarded)
  • Proven experience in demand planning, inventory management, and supplier relationships within a multi-brand or franchise environment
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
  • A results-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
